Highlights of 2008:
-Getting backed
-FT'ing the $50k and $100k on Cake in B2B weeks, also finishing 2nd in the $10r in those same weeks
-*Some* profit
-Lot of close calls to make some serious money, unfortunately... didn't hit the big big scores this year.
I had a goal of getting to $10k in profit... I didn't come close. I got closer, but no go. This is because I didn't really have much of a plan, nor did I stick to one I would formulate. So, I came up with one and here we go...
-Play4 days a week, 40 DU's a day
-At least 25% of them must be $50's or higher, although I think it'll be exclusively $27's for the first few months with a few $50's mixed in
-Maintain an 8% ROI in the $27's (I'm off pace in this, I need to work on improving)
-Maintain a 5% ROI in the $50's or above
-Not playing more then consecutive days for the most part (Sun-Mon, Thurs-Fri, and occassional Sat mornings)
-Sundays obv play any and all tournies possible
-Final table the $50k/$100k/$250k 3 times combined
-Win a tournament a month
-End with $10k+ profits in tournaments
If I do this, it will get me to 8500 SNG's on the year...
8% ROI in 75% $27's= $13,770 profit + $4,207.5 RB
5% ROI in 25% $50's= $5,685 profit + $2,454 RB
Total Profit= $26,116.5 (Would be nice IMO)
Things to note:
-8% ROI prob unrealistic in the $27's if I'm constantly 9-12 tabling... 6 tabling would be a different story, but I wouldn't get enough volume in to justify it.
-I can prob end up with more then 25% of my volume above the $50 mark. I just know that early on its going to be exclusively $27's as I fine tune my game a little.
-I will stay fresh as I get an average of 15 tables in per hour, so this should take 3 hours a night on the times I do it. Sundays I will just mix in to my regular volume.
I just bought a new computer, router, and I got the new monitors so handling the volume isn't going to be a problem hardware wise. I just need to stick to it.
I'll start updating this more, it'll keep me on pace hopefully. Wish me luck
